In order to discuss working on a custom tattoo together, please fill out Custom Tattoo Submission form.

If your concept is a good fit for my style and skill set, I will reach out with one of the following:
-
A quote and link to book your appointment
-
Clarifying questions in order to make sure I understand your the project
-
A request for an in-person consult where we discuss your goals further, and if applicable, make a tracing of the space to be tattooed to make sure the design works well with your anatomy and fits with any existing tattoos

Along with a detailed quote, I will provide a link to book your appointment and pay your deposit.
For custom appointments, the required deposit will vary. Smaller, single session pieces will have a deposit ranging from $150-200. Multi-session pieces will vary on the size and complexity of the project.

Part of this deposit is a drawing fee that scales based on design size, complexity & other factors. Part of the deposit will be applied to the final tattoo cost at your appointment. Sales tax included in all prices unless otherwise noted.

I usually plan to send a sketch a few days prior to your appointment based on your submission and any further communication we've had regarding the piece. I welcome feedback at that time, but ask that you be mindful that coming to me for a custom piece does entail your trust in my interpretation of your given subject. Make sure that if you are coming to me, you are looking for a piece in my style.
If you have a clear vision of the piece you have in mind, please don't hesitate to provide a sketch with your submission. I am committed to your satisfaction with the piece, and a client's clear communication gets us to the final design smoothly!

Please take a moment to look over the considerations below, and if you have questions, please note them in your form!

Technical considerations:
-
Please keep my style in mind - not all techniques are in my repertoire!
-
No single needle/ultra-fine line tattoos.
-
I tend to draw fairly detailed pieces, so things less than ~5-6" are usually not a good fit for my style. Exceptions include a face-only pet portrait which may be a little smaller.
Things I love tattooing:
-
Animals & pet portraits
-
Weird combinations / juxtapositions of animals and plants/objects
-
Botanicals (Please be specific the plants you’re looking for, i.e., specify sword fern or Rosehip vs. asking for general PNW foliage)

Other considerations:
-
No designs that rely on a lot of precise geometric elements. (i.e Sacred Geometry, Mandalas, architecture, etc....)
-
No names of significant others
-
I do not tattoo other tattoo artists designs
-
If you have an artwork from a non-tattoo artists that you want tattooed, be prepared with receipts for payment of the work / proof of permission from the original artist
-
No appropriative or racist imagery
-
No human portraits where a resemblance is important
-
Please make sure to note anything that you don't want, like certain colors or interpretations of your provided subject.
